Eligibility criteria

Character and Health: You, and any family members who are included in your application, must be fit and healthy. It may be necessary to undergo a health check-up and obtain a police certificate.

You have no other relatives: You don’t have any close relatives living in other countries than Australia (siblings or parents)

Support Assurance: In certain cases, an assurance of support may be needed. It is an agreement from someone or an organization that they will provide you with financial assistance so that your social security benefits are not needed.
